Manhattan:

For an authentic trip in New York, one must walk along Bleeker Street from NOLITA through Greenwich Village, which is a great shopping route with lots of little unique stores. The walk ends in The meatpacking district, where you will find great restaurants and boutiques with “that cool New York factory”- look. Buy some coffee-to-go and take a stroll on the Highline, a linear park built on a section of the elevated former NYC railroad spur.

The prime place for shopping and dining.
Walk along Broadway and its side streets for High End stores, and new and up-coming designers.
Stop by Dean and Deluca on Broadway for a great coffee to go.
Also, try the famous The Mercer kitchen on Prince Street for dinner.
